The Warren County Midget Football League (WCMFL) has been providing high quality, family-friendly youth football and cheer for over a half a century in the central jersey area. In the WCMFL, athletes play based on their grade level and the following weight limits:
Flag Level - Kindergarten through 2nd Grade - No Weight Limit
Players will be granted a one (1) pound allowance for the weight of the gym shorts and a shirt. If a player does not meet the weight requirements, they can play up with the permission of their parents.
Player Eligibility:
Flag Division - Age five (5) through seven (7) years old; players must be five (5) years old on or before September 1st of the playing year to be eligible. Players turning eight (8) years old before September 1st of the playing year are INELIGIBLE to play in the Flag Division. No person in third (3rd) grade or higher will be eligible to play in the Flag Division.
PeeWee Division- Age seven (7) through ten (10) years old; players must be seven (7) years old on or before September 1st of the playing year to be eligible. Players turning eleven (11) years old before December 31st of the playing year are INELIGIBLE to play in the PeeWee Division. No person in fifth (5th) grade or higher will be eligible to play in the PeeWee Division.
Junior Varsity Division - Age eight (8) through twelve (12) years old, Players turning thirteen (13) years old before December 31st of the playing year are INELIGIBLE to play in the Junior Varsity Division. No person in seventh (7th) grade or higher will be eligible to play in the Junior Varsity Division.
Varsity Division - Age nine (9) through fourteen (14) years old, Players turning fifteen (15) years old before December 31st of the playing year are INELIGIBLE to play in the Varsity Division. No person in ninth (9th) grade or higher will be eligible to play in the Varsity Division.
